New Delhi: Chinese company Xiaomi has launched its new Redmi Note smartphone. This smartphone, called Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A, is currently launched in China. The company has launched 2 models of this smartphone, Standard Edition, and High Edition. This phone has been launched in 3 variants. This phone of Xiaomi Redmi comes with a metal body. Although no information has been provided about this launch, this smartphone will be launched in India.
Entry level variants have been priced at 699 yuan (about Rs 6,700). It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be extended to 128GB with the help of MicroSD card. This phone will run on MIUI 9 and there is also a MicroSD slot beside 2 SIM card slots. This phone has a 5.5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 425 processor, 13MP rear camera and 3,080 mAh battery.
The price of variants of 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is fixed at 899 Chinese yuan (about 8,600 rupees), and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at 1,199 Chinese yuan (about Rs 11,500). Fingerprint scanners have been provided in both these premium variants. The specifiers of these two variants are better than the entry-level variant. Premium variants of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A have 16MP front camera and 13MP rear camera.
It is being told that the sale of this smartphone in the Chinese market will begin on Tuesday. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A has been launched in China’s market in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, and Platinum Silver gray color options. At present, no information has been given regarding the launch of this handset in India.
