Unlimited voice calls are available on the Reliance Jio Network, but the company has set a limit too. A user of Jio Network claimed in the last week that Reliance Jio has set a deadline for voice calls between two people. A representative of Reliance Jio’s Customer Service Center told Emit Post that a call can last for up to 5 hours. At the same time, another official said that only after talking for one hour, the user starts to feel some problems in the connection. The same, the third customer service officer said that this restriction is for selected customers.
The representative said that on Reliance Jio Network, consumers get unlimited voice calls, but customers can talk in a call for 5 hours in a row. The other representative of the company said that this restriction is applicable to Reliance Jio subscribers during their call to the network or non-Jio networks.
The representative further said that if a user crosses this limit then he will not be able to call any other person for a day. We were also told that to re-activate the affected user voice call service, Rs 149 would be recharged.
An officer related to the case told Emit Post that this limit was to ban the misuse of the company’s services. The person said that this reflection was imposed on the basis of the instructions of Telecom Regulator TRAI. Airtel and Vodafone also have similar limitations on daily use on their networks.
The representative said that there are no restrictions from Reliance Jio if users interact within the boundary. For example, you should talk to your 10 friends at least once a day. After this, you will continue to enjoy the service of Reliance Jio without hassle.
It is worth noting that the recent conditions applied for Jio phone by Reliance Jio were updated.
