Uddav Thackeray, Chief of Shiv Sena made a visit to Mamata Banerjee on Thursday. The visit came at a time when both the parties are opposing BJP on AADHAR issue. This meet might have deep political reasons and meanings. On the other hand, Shiv Sena is calling it a courtesy Visit. Mamata Banerjee is currently in Mumbai till the Weekend and Uddhav Thackeray thought it as a good moment to shake hands. His son Aditya accompanied him to the meeting. Speculations are about both parties merger to bring down BJP or primarily to bring down PM Narendra Modi.
Discussed Demonetization and poor GST implication
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray visited the hotel that Mamata Banerjee is staying in. The hotel is located in South Mumbai. Shiv sena reported that two leaders met for around 3 hours. They discussed about many false promises made by Bhartiya Janata Party. This included harassing demonetization and too poor implication of Goods and Service Tax (GST).
Both the parties are in open conflict against Narendra Modi’s plans. They have been long opposing Noteban and GST tax scheme. Mamata Banerjee recently reached Supreme Court against AADHAR CARD being mandatory to avail many government schemes. The plea was filed from the state of West Bengal. Supreme Court declined the plea saying how a state government can question a bill passed by the Central government where MPs are elected from all over the nation.
Shiv Sena released “Ghotalebaaj BJP”
Shiv Sena is also openly opposing the BJP government. Current governance of the state is in the hands of CM Devendra Fadanvees from Bhartiya Janata Party. The Sena recently released a booklet with the title “Ghotelebaaj BJP”. It includes the frauds and corruption charges made on BJP during Devendra Fadanvees government. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray accused CM of not developing the state properly. He also claimed that BJP supports corruption and the demonetization scheme was brought to help certain specific people in the business.
Mamata Banerjee stay in Mumbai
Head of Tranmool Congress and present Chief Minister in West Bengal, is currently on a visit in Mumbai. She is staying in The Trident Hotel. She is reported to be in the city till this weekend. Mamata Banerjee is currently meeting many businessman and supporters in the area. These meetings are being made for Bengal Global Business Summit. The Summit will be held in Kolkata (West Bengal) next year. It is expected to be in the month of January.

Many speculations are being made for Thackeray’s Visit with INC chief Mamata Banerjee. This time Uddhav’s son Aditya was also attending this meet. The meet is trending in Maharashtra News section. It is also being noticed on national political news segment. Uddhav Thackeray asked media why he is being targeted to meet Mamata Banerjee. He said “If PM Narendra Modi meeting Sharad Pawar is completely fine than why we meeting Mamanta Banerjee on demonetization is such a big thing?”.
