Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra Agriculture University, is not an Indian Citizen dismissed 15 days before retiring

Mumbai: It is a system of ours that a foreign citizen has been a vice-chancellor of a university, and when it comes to retiring, it is known that the Vice Chancellor is not a citizen of India. The Governor has dismissed the Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra Agriculture university.

Appointed new temporary vice chancellor

Maharashtra Governor C.V. Rao dismissed RG Dani, the Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Agricultural University when it came to know that he was not an Indian citizen. Here a government official gave this information. The Deen who was going to complete his five-year term on August 13 was abolished with immediate effect 15 days earlier. He was appointed on August 14, 2012 for this prestigious post.

An official of Raj Bhavan said that the decision to remove the Vice-Chancellor was taken after taking the opinion of the state law and justice department, advocate general and external affairs ministry.
