New Delhi: Venkaiah Naidu will be the ruling NDA candidate for the post of vice-president. Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday evening, his name was stamped in the BJP’s key meeting. After the meeting, BJP President Amit Shah said that Naidu’s name is unanimous in the name of Naidu.
Amit Shah said that Venkaiah Naidu, who came from a farmer’s family, went ahead with short positions and served the country. He said that Venkaiah Naidu is one of the country’s senior leaders today, so the NDA has welcomed his name in a tone. He told that Naidu will file nominations Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Venkaiah Naidu was already being mentioned at the forefront of the race to be a candidate for this post. The decision was made by the Prime Minister to decide whether he can reduce a cabinet member from his Cabinet. It is believed that due to this, no cabinet minister was elected to the presidential election.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP’s national president Amit Shah had held a meeting last week to discuss the vice-presidential candidate.

At the same time, after NDA declared Venkaiah Naidu as the Vice-President of the NDA, Nitish Kumar’s party JDU has made it clear that he will support the opposition candidate Gopal Krishna Gandhi and during his nomination on Tuesday, party leader Sharad Yadav, Vashishtha Narayan Singh and Casey Tyagi will be present.
