Nitish Kumar Says He Couldn’t Compromise on the issue of corruption, we had no other option

Patna: Nitish Kumar addressed the media for the first time after forming a government with BJP. In the last days, when he was associated with the breakdown of the alliance and joining the BJP, he made clear his point of view. He said that he tried to run the coalition with full potential but many objectionable statements came from the RJD. I did not have any other option when I was silenced by RJD in a stunning case. This is an important reason to break the coalition.

Important information related to the case

He said that JDU’s policy is that there is no agreement on the issue of corruption. We had to say with stunning that he should clean his case but he did not do this.

Lalu continued to defend his son. I had question marks. I did not have any information about fake companies.

I had also said in the meeting with Tejashwi that they had cleared the allegations but they were not ready to give sanitation on CBI charges.

No JDU leader gave a statement against Lalu Yadav. Lalu never talked to me.

On June 26, when the RJD gave its old chant, I decided to resign. It came to my mind that it is not possible to run this government.

I have clearly told Lalu and CP Joshi that it is not possible to run this government.

The party workers told me that now the decision has been taken, all JDU MLAs supported my decision.

Before resigning, I spoke to Lalu. The top BJP leaders talked to me. I spoke to JDU leaders on this issue, the JDU legislators approved the alliance with the BJP.

I do not need anyone’s certificate on the issue of secularism. In the previous government with BJP, there is very little work for minorities.

We speak less than tongue, we work more. Those who talk of secularism, show them the work too.
