New Delhi: Government has launched the mAadhaar App for the purpose of promoting Digital India. mAadhaar is a mobile app that will work only on the Android platform. After downloading and registering with this app you do not need to carry aadhaar card or its number. Here is a tweet from Aadhaar’s verified account stated.

Learn the five special things related mAadhaar App:
1)This app was developed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). This app will have a user’s picture and base number link with your name, date of birth, gender and address.
2)In a tweet made from a base verification account, #mAadhaar has been launched. This app running on Android is available on Google Play.
3)Well tell that it’s just in the beta version. Biometric locking feature has been given for personal data safe keeping. Once the app is locked, it will not be unlocked unless it unlocks the user itself.
4)The facility of TOTP is also given in terms of safety. TOTP means that Time-based One-Time Password will be generated. Users will be able to update their profiles but after successfully accepting the request in this regard.
5)Well registering your mobile number is the first condition to use this app. If the number is not registered then go to the nearest base enrollment center and register it.
