Officials said that the 44-year-old Tahira was shot during an encounter. He was taken to the hospital but his life could not be saved. He said that during the search operation the terrorists started firing on the security forces, after which both sides started encountering. A spokesperson of the police told that terrorists are using common people as “human shield” for their protection. Efforts are on to save people.
