This incident is from the Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. This is the second such case in Jharkhand within the last three days. Two days ago a crowd in Giridih district had beaten the owner of the house after having found the head of a cow in a house and set fire to the house.
According to information received from the police, Alimuddin alias Asghar Ansari was carrying meat in a Maruti van. Only then did anyone spread rumours that the van has beef. A group of people stopped Asgar in the Bajartand village and ruthlessly attacked him and set his van on fire. The police rescued him from the crowd and admitted to the hospital, where he died during treatment.
Additional Director General of Police RK Malik said that it is a planned murder. They said that the charge sheet was filed against Asghar for abduction and murder of the child. He said that some people involved in Beef’s business conspired to murder him. Police said that the killers have been identified.
