Terrorist Killed in encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: In a village of Sopore district of Jammu and Kashmir, encounter started on Saturday between terrorists and security forces hidden in which a terrorist is also reported to be killed. After getting information about the hide of terrorists in the village, the National Rifles and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the State Police surrounded the village of Raban. The police officer said, “The terrorists, who were surrounded by themselves, started firing on the security forces, after which the encounter started.”

The administration has closed all educational institutions. Internet services have been discontinued to prevent any kind of propaganda in the area. According to the news, there are reports of some other terrorists being hidden. The search operation is continuing throughout the area. There is a possibility of two foreign terrorists being hidden here. Given the action of the security forces, all educational institutions in Sopore city have been closed. Along with this, the area internet service has been discontinued.

The security forces had earlier on Monday killed two terrorists while taking action on intelligence inputs. The terrorists who were killed were identified as Naeem and Ashiq, who were associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.
