Supreme Court has given a green signal to the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmavat’ in the controversy. Now the film will be released on January 25 in all the states. The BJP-backed 4 states had banned the release of Padmavat. The Supreme Court has stayed this notification of the states of Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat too.

Chief Justice Deepak Mishra, Justice A. The bench of Justice M. Khanvilkar and Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, considered the plea of the film’s producer Viacom 18 and the counsel of the other, that its all-India show will be on January 25. In such a situation, a quick hearing is required on this petition.

Along with Deepika, Shahid Kapoor and Ranvir Singh have also acted in this movie. Earlier, on two occasions, the Supreme court had failed efforts to ban the film’s performance. The court had said that no opinion about the film can be made before the decision of the censor board.

Later, the censor board also passed the film. Bhansali’s film is being opposed by Rajput organizations and Karani army. The apex court had expressed displeasure over comments of some political leaders about the film on November 28 last year and asked them to make a mistake by expressing their reaction.

This movie is based on the historical battle between Maharaja Ratan Singh of Mewar and his army in the 13th century and Sultan Alauddin Khilji of Delhi. The film set was sabotaged twice in Jaipur and Kolhapur and with its director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the people of the Army of Mercury also did a scuffle.
