Ahmedabad: The ongoing controversy and continuation of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati film continue. In many states, after assuming Padmavati, now in Gujarat, the film has got an eclipse. After the BJP-ruled Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, the state has also been banished to Padmavati in state assembly elections.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said on Wednesday that “the Gujarat government can not permit the release of ‘Padmavati’ film in the state for hurting Rajputs’ feelings. We can not allow tampering with our history. We believe in freedom of speech and expression, but any kind of wrong mess with our great culture is not tolerated. ”
Let me tell you that the Padmavati film is a 190 million film, which is being protested by Karani army all over the country. Karani Sena says that Padmini was a 13th century Veer Rajput warrior queen. Karani Army alleges that romance has been shown in the movie between the Sultan of Allauddin Khilji and Rani Padmavati of Delhi, which is tainted with history. Legend says that after the King’s death, Queen Padmavati had already handed herself to the fire before she came to Khilji’s Chung because Khilji Rani was fascinated by the beauty of Padmavati.
Let us state that the Rajput law seems to be hand-in-hand with the growing resistance of the army. First Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has announced a ban on the release of the film in Madhya Pradesh. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has also said that Padmavati of unnecessary changes cannot be released in Rajasthan.
