Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir): In the busy Jahangir Chowk area of Srinagar, today a civilian was killed in the grenade attack by the terrorists while 15 others, including three policemen, were injured.
A police officer said that the attack took place at 5.00 am in the morning and it appears that the security personnel posted in the Jahangir Chowk area were on target.
According to the official, 16 people were injured in the grenade explosion. One of them, Munshud Shah, died. He was a resident of Badgam district.

SSP of Srinagar told that the grenade attacker was also allegedly injured in the blast. He said, according to eyewitnesses, the person who hurled the grenade was also injured. We are trying to confirm this.
