Home Minister Rajnath Singh on four day visit to Jammu & Kashmir

Srinagar: Home Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Srinagar on Saturday on a four-day tour of Jammu and Kashmir. During this, he will meet Governor N. N. Vohra and Chief Minister Mahbuba Mufti. Along with this, businessmen and students will also meet. On this tour Rajnath is accompanied by Union Home Secretary Rajib Gaba and other senior officials. Rajnath will spend two days in the valley while in Jammu region for two days. Rajnath Singh will first meet Mehbooba Mufti to discuss the law and order situation in the state.

Rajnath will also address the police forces of the state and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in Khanbah on the district police line in Anantnag. According to sources, he will also review the implementation of the Prime Minister’s development package for the state. He said that representatives of social, political and religious factions also meet Rajnath in Srinagar and Jammu.

Rajnath Singh says that he is ready to talk to everyone. Governor Vohra will host banquet for Rajnath in Raj Bhavan. Rajnath Singh will also address the media before leaving for Jammu on Monday.
He will also interact with people living in border areas in Naushera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu. During the visit, Rajnath will also address the BSF jawans.
