Col Purohit wears army uniform after 9 years

New Delhi: Lieutenant Colonel Srikant Purohit weared Army uniform on his body after 9 years. The photo of the Colonel has come out in which he is seen smiling. Purohit was left in jail after spending 8-year-9-month sentence in Malegaon Blast.

After the Supreme Court’s release on bail, the Colonel was restored by the army, so after being released from jail, he immediately went to his duty. Lieutenant Colonel Purohit was released from jail in Mumbai on the 24th. Earlier, after the arrest in the blast case, the army suspended them.

Explain that seven people were killed in the blast in Maharashtra’s Malegaon on September 29, 2008. During this time there was a blast in the bike near Hamidia Mosque. In this case, another accused Sadhvi Pradnya has also got bail.

Earlier, the investigation of the Malegaon Blast was with Maharashtra ATS, later the investigation of the case was handed to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Colonel Purohit remained in jail for 8 years and 9 months. Before the petition in the Supreme Court, the Bombay High Court had rejected his appeal. Purohit is accused of supplying bomb for blasts. Colonel Purohit got conditional bail from the Supreme Court. They can not leave the country without the court’s approval.
