New Delhi: Prior to the Vice Presidential election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has indicated that after becoming the Vice President of M. Venkaiah Naidu, the scenario will change in the Rajya Sabha. He also told the NDA MPs that he should stand with Naidu for the next five years and help improve the level of debate in the Rajya Sabha. On this occasion, the Prime Minister also released the compilation of the speeches and articles of M. Venkaiah Naidu.
Apart from MPs of BJP and NDA component parties, senior party leaders and ministers were also present in the program. In this program, the dummy voting was told to the MPs how to vote for them so that due to any mistake voting on Saturday, the possibility of MPs’ vote rejection can be avoided.
While addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the way in which five years before independence had a radical change, the country got freedom. Similarly, the period of the next five years is going to happen. He said that this is probably the first opportunity, while the President, Vice President, Prime Minister and Lok Sabha Speaker are of the same community. That is the reason that now we are hopeful that we will be able to give this country a lot.
Referring to the occasions in the Rajya Sabha, the Prime Minister said that the activities of the Parliament are criticized many times, but the high house, that is, the speeches of the Rajya Sabha should be realized from the law. There the level of debate became high, and it became a house that would guide the country. In such a way, giving our dignity to the Rajya Sabha will be our biggest challenge.
He said that everyone should work together with Vision to do that if the country can be pulled out of the country from politics or politicians, which sometimes frustrates. The NDA MP appealed to the MPs that the way they will make a long streak in front of their names to vote for Naidu on Saturday, they will stand still with Naidu for the next five years. The responsibility of the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha is very big.
At the same time, Modi also told the BJP and NDA MPs that they should now meet Naidu instead of the leader of his party like Vice President and maintain his dignity. The Prime Minister said that even though he was his minister until yesterday, but now he is Vice President, he assures him that he and his whole team will give him all possible support on his behalf. He expressed hope that Naidu would soon adapt himself to his new post. He appealed to NDA MPs to vote for Naidu in the election of Vice President.
Earlier, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and BJP President Amit Shah congratulated Naidu for his new post. Jaitley also praised his work and his services given to the party.
