The earthquake shattered several parts of the state capital, including Delhi and Uttarakhand. In Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand, 30 km IMD (Indian Meteorological Department) has announced that the earthquake is in depth. This caused a 5.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale. Dehradun residents were afraid of tremors and left home. There were earthquakes in Delhi and several parts of Gurukram. At 8.50 pm on Wednesday (December 6), people landed out of their homes and offices as the earth shook.
