Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to the 2012 Ek Tha Tiger which was directed by Kabir Khan. The New One Has been Directed By Ali Abbas Jafar who previously directed the Sultan. The first day Box office collection is estimated to be 33.75 Crore, which is higher than the previous installment.
Releasing this movie on Christmas, it has found enormous opening given the last film of the Salman Khan film did not do well compared to his other films. Tubelight was directed by Kabir Khan who is known for his different kind of cinema. He was previously a documentary filmmaker. he said that he did not have a story to continue with the first installment of the tiger. So, he was never under any pressure to perform or write another story. Salman Khan found the story of the sequel to be good enough to be translated into the movie.

The total budget of the film is more a billion rupees which is in line with the production house, star cast, and shooting locations.
