Jaipur: Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film ‘Padmavati’ has remained in controversy for a long time. Now, once again, the big statement of the Shri Rajput Karani army of an organization of Rajput community has come up with this film. He said that if the facts are ‘distorted’ in Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’, then he will oppose screening of the film. Mr. Rajput Karani, the army’s patron, and founder Lokendra Singh Kalvi said, “Somebody had called the Bhansali team about 20 days ago and had asked us to watch the film. But, we have shown him to show the film to historians and intellectuals. Said. We have not talked to him since then. ”
Let me tell you that recently the first look of the film has been released and after this he has made such a statement. In the film, Deepika Padukone is playing Rani Padmini or Padmavati of Chittor. Ranvir Singh Allauddin will play the role of Khilji in the film. It is noteworthy that in January, Karani army workers had abused the people of Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ team, broke the equipment and performed in protest against the film. He claimed that the producer was distorting the historical facts in the film.
Kalvi said, “We will not allow distorted facts to be shown in the film at any cost and will ensure that the film does not appear in half of India.” The Karani army claimed that in any book it was not written that in the 13th-14th century, a powerful ruler of the Khilji dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate, Alauddin Khaliji, had fallen in love with Padmavati or was his lover. A Karani army worker said, “They are trying to defame Padmavati by distorting historical facts, it is not acceptable.
