MUMBAI: Fukrey Returns, released on Friday at the box office has made a spectacular start. According to media reports, this movie has earned about 8.10 crore rupees on the first day at the box office. Looking at the film’s first day’s earnings, it looks like it can perform well even at the box office. Although the film may be getting a lot of love for the audience, Critics did not appreciate this film much.
In ‘Fukrey Returns’, Pulakit Samrat, Richa Chadha, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Priya Anand, Varun Sharma, Vishakha Singh and Pankaj Tripathi are among the leading roles. The film has been produced by Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Sidhwani, while its director is Mrigdeep Singh Lamba. Talk about the film’s earnings, on the first day, films such as ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ and ‘Munna Michael’ have been better. Due to the release of ‘Padmavati’, ‘Fukrey Returns’ did not even face much competition. Kapil Sharma‘s comedy movie ‘Firangi’ is in front, so that it may have to compete a bit.
The first film of the series ‘Fukrey’ was released in 2013. According to film reviewer Taran Adarsh, that film had collected the box office 2.62 crore on the first day.
