MAT generally known as The Management Aptitude Test is a popular entrance exam for MBA aspirants. The MAT score is accepted in a no of Business Schools, conducting Management programs. MAT itself is popular because it gives the opportunity to the aspirants to choose the mode of the exam whether it is pen and paper based or computer based.
AIMA (All India Management Association) conducts MAT four times in a year, in the month of May, September, December and February. 14th of Sep 2019 is the date of computer-based exam likewise 1st of Sep 2019 is the paper-based. The aspirants who are graduates from any discipline or the students of the final year of graduation are qualified to apply MAT 2019. Although every Business School has it’s own requirement for graduation scores.
The aspiring candidates have to go through these five sections to qualify MAT 2019, which are Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment. The assisting gadgets like calculators, mobiles are not allowed to carry in the examination.
MAT Exam 2019 Sep: Eligibility Criteria
Since the eligibility criteria for MAT has still unchanged for the last several years which is AIMA has no age or experience bar for appearing in MAT 2019Exam.
The aspirants who are applying MAT 2019 Sep exam having the criteria as follows:
- The aspirant is a Bachelor’s degree holder in ay discipline for three years or equivalent or having a professional degree like CA/CS/ICWA.
- The aspirant is having a unique and valid Email account along with a valid phone number throughout the MAT exam procedure.
- The aspirants who applied for MAT 2019 Sep exam, in their final year if selected by the Business School on the support of MAT score 2019, will permitted to join the program in this condition that they submit a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their Institution, stating that the candidate has fulfilled all specifications for obtaining the Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
MAT Exam 2019 Sep: Registration Process
The registration fee for MAT Exam 2019 is 1550/- and there is an option that a candidate can appear for both the tests i.e PBT (paper-based test) and CBT (computer-based test) which costs 1650/-
MAT Exam 2019 Sep: Online registration
The online registration has to be done on the website of AIMA is https://www.aima.in/testing-services/mat/mat.html. The payment for the exam is done by Credit card or Debit card or Net banking. The candidate must have the following things throughout the registration process
- Digital image of their photograph.
- Digital image of their signature.
- Make an online payment.
MAT Exam 2019 Sep: Exam pattern
MAT 2019 is based on multiple choice questions (MCQs) which cover across the five sections Language Comprehension, Mathematical skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Indian and Global Environment. The marks obtained in the MAT examination will be done on the basis of only 4 sections. But the section Indian and Global Environment will score separately and need not take into consideration of the percentile score of a candidate.
MAT exam will consist of 200 marks of the question in which each section have 40 questions in a time limit of 150 mins in the MCQs format. Here the table is given below.
