Manoj Sinha also informed that BSNL has successfully implemented a major project related to NG-OTH technology in 44 cities of the country. This project will cover a total of 100 cities in the current financial year in a phased manner. Sinha also said that by the end of December 2018, the target of providing broadband and optical fiber broadband connectivity in one lakh villages has been set in 2.5 lakh gram panchayats.
