Saif Ali Khan’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan is gearing up for her Bollywood debut. She will be seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, now has a release Date.
The release date of Sara Ali Khan’s debut project Kedarnath has been announced. The Abhishek Kapoor directorial will release on December 21, 2018.
Touted to be a love story that unfolds in the course of a pilgrimage, the production house announced the release date on Twitter. It wrote, “With blessings of Shiva… Kedarnath to release on 21st Dec 2018”
Kedarnath is Sushant’s second outing with Abhishek after his debut, Kai Po Che and is being jointly presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, Guy in the Sky Pictures, KriArj Entertainment and T-Series.
Earlier the makers released the first poster of the film, which gave us a glimpse of 2013 Kedarnath tragedy with the silhouette in the background of a man kissing a woman’s forehead and in the center of the poster a few pilgrims trekking their way upwards can be seen.
Sushant will be seen playing the role of a pitthu; men who carry pilgrims on their shoulders for a certain amount of money and Sara will play his love interest.
The shooting in Uttarakhand has been wrapped up and the cast and crew will commence shooting the Mumbai bits by the end of this month or in December. The makers want to give their ambitious project the much-needed wide release.
The movie releases on 21st Dec 2018.
