Sunny Leone and Arbaaz Khan starrer ‘Tera Intezaar‘ music team singer Swati Sharma and lyricist Shabbir Ahmed interacted with media on the eve of success of their latest song ‘Barbie Girl’ from the movie on Tuesday in Mumbai While interacting with media, Swati stated that It was huge jackpot for a singer to sing for Sunny Leone in ‘Tera Intezaar’.
Talking about her song ‘Barbie Girl’ which features Sunny Leone, Swati said, “It was a jackpot for me. Shabbir sir has written the song beautifully and Raj sir has composed it amazingly and while recording the song I realized that this song is going to get picturised on Sunny Leone so I was super happy with it because if you see Sunny Leone’s all peppy numbers has been superhit and I feel this will get appreciated by kids and adults in party and clubs”
Earlier, Kanika Kapoor sung ‘Baby Doll’ for Sunny Leone’ and now Swati has sung ‘Barbie Girl’ for Sunny so when asked Swati what she has to say about comparison of her song with Kanika Kapoor’s song, Swati said, “I feel there might be or might not be comparable with Kanika Kapoor’s song. If it happens then it’s nice and I will take that as a compliment for me because her ‘Baby Doll’ song was a huge hit.”
When asked Swati whether this song will set a new trend in Bollywood, Swati said, “I recorded this song for more than three times as I was very excited to better the song and I did not want any kind of flaw in the song from my side. Each time I tried to come up with different texture and justify the song”
Talking about ‘Barbie Girl’ song lyricist Shabbir Ahmed said, “In today’s time we want to create song for teenagers, kids, and youth of the country so I would not try to include vulgar words in the songs because audience listens to it in part or marriage ceremonies and apart from that I always keep story and situation of the film in mind to connect with the audience.”
‘Tera Intezaar’ is directed by Rajeev Walia and produced by Aman Mehta and Bijal Mehta.
It is scheduled to release on 24 November 2017.
